IMPACT Writing Weekend

I coined the phrase IMPACT writing because this is what I want to be about … and what I believe you want to be about. You want your words to matter. And they do. But if they stay swirling as myriad thoughts and what if’s no one will receive the benefit of the message that lies within you. That lies within ONLY you. For no one else can tell your story.

In this weekend together we will address how to overcome obstacles, how to find the Harmonic Ping that speaks of reality and resonance, and how to simply Get it done, no matter what is stopping you.

Weekend Details:
Here’s some things to consider:

  • Impact Writing - Instructor: Laurie Beth Jones 9 AM to Noon (PST) for Impact Writing
  • Dates - October 24-26, 2025 3 sessions
  • Friday is an all day session 9 AM to 4 PM to shape your mission and the story you are writing using The Path. This session is led by Path Coach, Shelly Shepherd.
  • Saturday and Sunday Laurie Beth will lead the Impact Writing Segments. 
  • The Path Elements Assessment and the Genesis Generator are proprietary resources of Laurie Beth Jones. These resources are used in the Impact Writing events.
  • Hotels near the gathering location can be found in the 92103 zip code of San Diego. Several hotels are located near Mission Valley. Mission Valley is recommended for ease of transportation to and from the airport and to and from the workshop location. The Impact Writing Weekend address will be shared with registered attendees. The Workshop location is approximately 15 minutes from the airport.

  • There will be writing exercises during the morning sessions. Laurie will guide and coach each writer to experience this art form in ways that fit their unique writing voice. She will share her own experiences of writing that spans several decades, focusing on what she has learned as a best selling author and how to navigate challenges for writers today. You will be asked to write outside of the sessions during your afternoon or evening. These writings will be shared within the group.
